Privacy Policy

Audio on your device

Uploaded audio is decoded, edited and exported in your browser. Recent recordings and edited versions are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. They are not automatically backed up to a cloud audio library. You can delete saved edits in the sidebar or clear this site’s data in your browser. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to open local edits.

Prompt editing and listening previews

AI requests send your prompt, recording duration, selection, detected silent time ranges and revision to our server and OpenRouter. By default, no audio bytes are sent. If you enable the listening-preview option, a mono WAV excerpt of up to 30 seconds is sent through our server to OpenRouter and its selected model provider. The interface shows the excerpt’s start and end. Do not send recordings containing sensitive information unless you are comfortable sharing that excerpt with these providers.

We do not intentionally store audio previews in our application database. Provider processing and retention follow their policies and your request’s routing. We cannot promise zero provider retention. Read OpenRouter’s Privacy Policy for its handling of requests and downstream providers.

Accounts, credits and operational records

Account records include your name, email, password hash, sessions and security-related connection information. Audio accounts, balances and AI request records are stored separately from our photo and video services. AI records include your account identifier, job identifier, charge, status, cost and returned editing plan. Returned plans can contain wording derived from your request. Authentication cookies keep you signed in. A daily salted hash of your connection address helps enforce usage limits; those rate-limit records expire after two days.

Cloudflare hosts the service and processes network and operational logs. Google Fonts serves the interface fonts and may receive normal connection information when your browser requests them. This version does not add advertising trackers. Payment purchases are not currently enabled; this policy will need to reflect payment processing before paid checkout launches.

Retention and your choices

Local history remains until you delete it or your browser removes site data. Server account and usage records remain as needed to operate the service, protect it from abuse and meet applicable obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion using the contact above. Deletion may require verifying account ownership; records required for legal or security purposes may be retained. Do not clear local storage before downloading anything you wish to keep.

Your recordings and other people

Only upload audio you are authorized to use. Obtain any permissions required for recordings of other people. The service is not intended for children under 13. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information and may contact your local data protection authority.
