Terms of Service

Your account and recordings

Use accurate account information and protect your password. You retain your rights to the audio you upload. You give us the permission necessary to process requests you choose to send. You must have the rights and consent needed to upload, modify and share the recording, including permission for any AI listening preview you enable.

What the service provides

GPTAudioEditor offers browser-based editing of an existing audio recording. AI interprets prompts into supported audio operations; it does not guarantee subjective quality, perfect preservation or recovery of missing sound. Review each result by listening. The service does not currently provide voice cloning, new music generation, stem separation, word-level transcript editing or measured loudness mastering.

Credits and payment availability

Manual editing and downloads are free. Trial credits are an introductory allowance per account. A valid AI editing plan uses the displayed number of credits. Unsupported requests, clarification responses and failed AI plans return reserved credits. A completed valid plan remains charged if you undo it, stop after completion or your device fails during rendering. Unfinished reservations are reconciled after a timeout.

Subscriptions are not currently open for purchase. Planned prices on the pricing page are informational until checkout is enabled. Paid billing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms must be presented before a paid purchase becomes available. Photo and video credits are separate and are not debited for audio edits.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful content, fraud, abusive impersonation, nonconsensual exploitation, rights violations or attempts to bypass security and usage limits. Do not upload recordings obtained unlawfully. The service may restrict accounts or requests that threaten its security or violate these terms.

Storage, availability and limits

Originals and edit history are saved on the device, subject to browser storage and memory. This is not a backup service. Download audio you wish to retain. Supported formats, limits and model availability can change. Some files may fail to decode or export because of protection, corruption, codec differences or device constraints.

Independent service and responsibility

GPTAudioEditor is not affiliated with OpenAI or ChatGPT. Third-party model and infrastructure services have their own terms. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular use. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
